Throughout 2019, we’ve been celebrating a major milestone for Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area—35 years of granting wishes! Since our chapter’s inception in 1984, we’ve created life-changing wishes for more than 8,500 families.
As we reflect on our chapter’s successes over the past 35 magical years, we’re also looking ahead. Research shows that a wish can improve a child’s quality of life, giving them a better chance of recovering, so we’re committed to granting a wish for every eligible child in our territory.
As our 35th year draws to a close, we’re launching a close-out campaign with the goal of raising $350,000 to fund 35 wishes. We need your help to succeed!
Will you commit to raising 35 gifts of $35 to support Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area’s next 35 years?
Getting started is easy!
Step 1: Decide if you will fundraise for Brave the Bay, which takes place on December 7. You can do our 35 for 35 campaign as part of your Brave the Bay fundraising.
Step 2: Fill out our short commitment form online or email Kristie Figone at firstname.lastname@example.org and let her know you’d like to join.
Step 3: Our chapter team will set you up with a fundraising page where you can accept gifts online, as well as a toolkit to help you meet your goal.
Wishes are powerful, and the hope a wish brings is only possible because of supporters like you. Together, we can accomplish amazing things—like starting the next 35 years off right!
