“ Not feeling sick, and getting his energy back is pure joy. My heart is full every day. ”

Seven-year-old Sage has a few nicknames. Super Sage. Monkey. That one was given to him because of how, ever since his parents can remember, he has loved to climb things. His treatments for lymphoma ended last November, and since then he has started school and baseball again, and his hair has returned. Says his mom, Maya, about Sage: “Not feeling sick, and getting his energy back is pure joy. My heart is full every day.”

Before his wish, he and his family had never gone on a big vacation like this. “Googling Costa Rica and the anticipation of traveling to another country was so huge for our family.” With his love of climbing and adventures, Sage was especially excited for the zip lining. We recently received a Facebook message from Maya about his wish, along with great photos showing Sage relaxing in a hammock, hiking and of course, zip lining.

I can't even express in words how this trip has made our family feel. The look on my son’s face throughout the entire week has been priceless. We felt spoiled, lucky and enjoyed every single moment. Thank you! Costa Rica was an amazing location and just perfect for us! ”
