How Your Gift Is Spent
Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area is committed to stretching every dollar received to affect as many wish kids as possible. When it comes to our wish kids, we do everything possible to make sure their once-in-a-lifetime wish experience is fun, memorable and very special. Every dollar our chapter receives aids us in our mission to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Proceeds from the Make-A-Wish® fundraising efforts are used to fulfill children’s dreams and create special memories for the entire family. 75% of each dollar raised is spent on wish granting and related program services. Administration and fundraising costs account for less than 25% of money raised.

Chi Omega chapters have volunteered more than 139,000 hours. To date, Chi Omega has raised more than $2.3 million for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® and granted more than 350 wishes.
