Car Donation
One of our major sources of revenue is our car donation program. Donating your car, truck, motorcycle, boat, trailer, camper or RV (yes, we’ve received RV’s) could hardly be easier. Donating can be done in one of two ways:
- Click here to complete an online form
- Call 1-855-622-WISH (9474). We’ll ask you a few questions, arrange for the pick-up of your vehicle, and then mail you a packet of paperwork.
Approximately four-to-eight weeks later you will receive a letter acknowledging your donation, complete with tax information.*
*In 2005 the tax law on car donations changed. You may now deduct only the amount the car is worth at auction. This amount will be included in your acknowledgement letter. If you have any questions concerning this change in tax law, please contact your tax preparer or the IRS at 1-800-829-1040.
