SFPD Challenge

SFPD medium

When: December 7, 2013
Where: Aquatic Park, San Francisco

The SFPD Challenge is a community event in three parts, in partnership with the San Francisco Police Department: Cops and Coffee at the iconic Buena Vista Café, the Santa Plunge in the San Francisco Bay and the Santa Cable Car Pull.

Cops & Coffee
9:00am - 3:00pm

Head to the Buena Vista Café (featuring world-famous Irish coffee and so much more!) for a relaxing meal.  Your server will be assisted by one of  San Francisco’s finest – a wonderful SFPD officer working hard that day to make sure your meal arrives hot…and accepting your generous tip – 100% of  which benefits Make-A-Wish!

Santa Plunge
9:00am

Find out just exactly how cold the San Francisco Bay is!  Whether you take the slow and steady wade-in approach or get it over with quickly by jumping in, your supporters and spectators will be impressed by your fortitude. Towels, hot drinks and showers are provided, and for $50 or more in donations raised, you’ll receive an event hat.

Santa Cable Car Pull
10:00am - 12:00pm

If  you really want to prove yourself, put your strength to the test against the SFPD in the Santa Pull beginning at 10:15am. Up to six individuals will compete against another to see who can pull a cable car the fastest over a distance of  200 feet. Each participant who raises $50 or more will receive an event hat.

The SFPD Challenge is a quintessential San Francisco bucket list event - don’t miss it!  Bookmark this page for updates and registration for the 2013 event!  For more information call (415) 982-9474 or email events@sfwish.org .
