Make-A-Wish®Greater Bay Area is part of the nation’s largest and most well-established wish-granting organization, with chapters and volunteers throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Our local staff is dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy, and maintaining the foundation’s grassroots fulfillment of its mission.
The work of the chapter is accomplished by a volunteer governing Board of Directors, an Advisory Council, a Young Professional Advisory Council, a Junior Young Professional Advisory Council, a paid staff of dedicated employees and hundreds of dedicated volunteers. The chapter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit incorporated in the state of California, dedicated to helping share the power of a wish®.
Chi Omega chapters have volunteered more than 139,000 hours. To date, Chi Omega has raised more than $2.3 million for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® and granted more than 350 wishes.
